First experience of using MAAC following buying a house where MAAC have been engaged on an ongoing basis for the care and maintenance of the ASHP water/central heating system. Overall, first class in level of service, communication and professionalism. I engaged MAAC prior to the house completion and they were most helpful following requesting a quote for external access of the system via an app. In addition, when the house completed a quote was promptly provided to change the worn out mechanical secondary water circulation pump timer to a 7 day electronic timer. Fred was allocated to the job and arrived on time and conducted himself in a very professional manner with excellent interpersonal skills. The jobs and annual service were carried out diligently including giving me an overview of the entire system having never had this level of kit before. During the quote process he visited a few times and had no problem with the many questions we asked while we were preparing the place for installation. Hayden was quick to respond to emails and explain answers in an honest way we could understand so everything was ready to go. The units were very affordable, modern and surprisingly energy efficient! We had a nice surprise to find they can be controlled with our phones too! We were given two quote options which was very helpful and we can't praise the quality of installation enough! A hugely significant upgrade of our old space heating as we converted from gas-fired warm air unit to heat pumps in our village hall was specified and installed by MAAC Heating and Cooling with professionalism right from the outset. Commissioning of the Midea split system has now taken place and all objectives have been achieved, following a very adaptable approach by Dan, MAAC's engineer, who carefully integrated the new equipment and its associated ducting with the existing layout. The result now offers ample heating and cooling capacity and a very good spread of the ducted air across all of our large main hall area.
The whole system has been installed very securely and neatly. Great care has been taken to seal and insulate all of the equipment, which has further supported our need to maximise heating efficiency.
The new system provides comprehensive remote monitoring and control, as well as onsite adjustability. The system handover was very thorough and also contributed to a successful move onto our first big step towards a decarbonised future.

Dan and Rory were absolutely fantastic - they kept us informed, we were able to make good choices about the finer details of the installation with them, they were friendly and respectful of our property and used masks where we asked them to.

What can I say? Aaron of Excel completed the electrical connection last Friday. I trialled the system and it worked a treat, it is so quiet in operation. When my partner Jane came home later that day, I started the system running and we were rewarded by an instant cool breeze and a remarkably chilly bedroom within 5 minutes, sheer bliss.
All has been working perfectly since then, Hindsight being a wonderful thing, I honestly don’t know why I didn’t get this earlier.

MAAC sent out a couple of great fitters - polite, efficient and meticulous in cleaning up after the work was done. I was working from home in the kitchen, to give them free run to work as required. I hardly knew they were there (bar the occasional drilling noises). I kept them topped up with tea and coffee and they finished earlier than I had expected. I was given a thorough tour of the work done, a large instruction book, plus a quick guide and they were on their way. I would be more than happy to recommend MAAC to anyone.

The room is always beautifully warm; the unit is left on 24 hrs set at a lower temp, increasing when we use the room. When I was looking for a company to install air conditioning into our temporary offices I went out to the market place to obtain a minimum of three quotations. As our offices were only temporary great emphasis was made so that the equipment was to be suitable for our long term development of our new offices and the design should be considered with the immediate use and proposed drawings for long term. After sending out six enquiries to tender for our work MAAC Heating & Cooling were one of two who made the effort to visit site and discuss and understand immediate and our long term requirements. Once we received their quotation I found it easy to follow with all the supporting technical information about the equipment they were proposing to use. In the summer of 2012, we needed an air conditioner put in our bedroom. Tom came in person himself the day after we phoned him to advice which type would suit the room given the need for low sound so we can sleep while having it on, the size of the room etc. He also within a day wrote us all information we needed in order to get permission to the installation from the City Council (we live in a Leasehold). 10 days after the permission was given from the Council. They are fine service too. Few days after, Tom and his team came and worked very hard for a full working day to put up the air conditioner and did a fantastic job. These things are bigger and harder to handle than we ever thought and we are very impressed with the expertise by which these men installed the whole thing with perfection. They were making sure not to disturb more than the job by its character with lots of drilling etc. of course does. They also provided an electrician themselves to do the electrical parts of the job in the afternoon and worked together as a professional team all the way through. Everybody also cleaned up afterwards. Before departure, we got clear instruction in how to use this amazing air conditioner easy and efficiently and were informed also regarding annual service checks that will be provided for a very low fee. Invoices where also send according to agreements. Tom knows what he talks about when it comes to air conditioners. He has a professional position and his company works efficiently. E-mails being answered straight away and things explained for amateurs like us so we could follow. We are very pleased with the performance of the system and although it has not yet been cold enough to fully test the system we can report it has made the ambience in our garden room much more pleasant and we are certainly able to use the room over longer periods than before.
